BodyShop Mango Scrub Review

I recently bought the Mango body scrub from the Body Shop and I love the results. The scrub not only exfoliates the skin, but also moisturises and hydrates the skin which leaves an oily after-feel. Personally I don’t mind it, as long as the product is works, but it depends on your preference, as it is a love or hate thing. If you have dry skin, you would definitely benefit from the oily after-feel.

The scrub is an intense exfoliation but also gentle at the same time. I wouldn't say it’s the best exfoliating product I've tried, but the exfoliation is average.

But the mango scent smells is wonderful, the smell just draws me into it. So, it you don’t mind the oily-after feel, and love tropical scents like mango this would be the product for you

Benefit Benetint Review and Swatches

Benetint is an rosy tinted stain colour which can be used for the cheeks and lips. Its a very sheer colour which I believe will suit all complexions. I picked this up few weeks ago as I have never tried  tint before.

It is gorgeous red rosy colour and very natural looking even though the colour in the bottle is quite scary. It can be used as a base powder or as a blush (base lip stain or a lip stain). I would say that its definitely say its sheer but very build-able. It does come in a nail polish type packaging (which some people may not like); I wasn't really bothered as it did ease the application.

I think I would repurchase this when I run out as I love the fact the you can build it up to be very subtle for the day time of make it very vibrant for an evening dinner out. Have you guys Benetint or any other lip and cheek tint/stain?

MAC SELECT MOISTURE COVER CONCEALER REVIEW

51iyIeAVpdL._SY450_IMG_8740
(A photo of me wearing MAC SELECT MOISTURE COVER CONCEALER under my eyes in Portugal.)
This concealer has a very creamy in consistency which provides a medium-full coverage. It is very hydrating which prevents it from creasing or drying out when applied under the eyes. I normally where it under my foundation to cover my dar circles but you can also apply it over your foundation to highlight the under eye area.
I wear the shade NC35 which is a perfect shade for me. MAC is known for the wide and varied colour range, so i am sure there will be a shade for all of us. The  brushed tip wand allows it for precise and easy to control application. It comes in a small plastic tube which makes it easier to carry around and avoids the need to worry about it breaking when travelling.  It retails for £15.50 and I think for a good coverage high end concealer it does not break the bank. I would hundred percent recommend this concealer for under eyes. Have you  ever tried this concealer?

Max Factor Flipstick Colour Effect in 05 Bloomy Pink Review

After watching the ads on TV I knew I had to get hold of one of the Max Factor flipsticks. Max Factor is not usually a brand that I tend to look at and I don't think I actually own any Max Factor, until now. I picked up the flipstick in shade 05 Bloomy Pink.

The price is £8.49 which I think is not bad as you get two lipsticks and can apply it in three different ways. But after opening I realised the lipsticks themselves were actually smaller than normal lipsticks (this made me feel cheated). The smaller size is justified by Max Factor to help precision and make application easier

The colour duos have been selected carefully as they complement each other if you use the two colours together. Bloomy Pink has a lovely dark mauve pink colour and a baby pink (like a Barbie pink) kind of colour on the other side. These colours complement each other really well and I will probably end up using this everyday!!!

Have you guys tried any of the Max Factor flipsticks?

NARS CASINO BRONZER REVIEW

NARS bronzing powder in Laguna is every blogger’s rave. But being asian with tanned skin, I didn’t think I’d be able to join the NARS bronzer hype till i got hold of casino. It is great for women with darker complexion as it hard to find a bronzer dark enough to use as a contour.
Casino is more of meaner brown bronzer compared to Laguna but more pigmented and less shimmery. It is neither orange or grey therefore it makes it natural on the face. I use it with the Real Techniwues contour brush and it works together so seamlessly (it makes blending million times easier). It gives dimension to my round face.  Overall I LOVE LOVE it and it had now become by favourite bronzer.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the bronze: Review and Swatches

I tried to resist the temptation of buying a Maybelline colour tattoo for about 1-2 months. I surprisingly managed to keep my record up till I walked into boots yesterday to find Maybelline products are 3 for 2. I immediately picked up the colour tattoo in bad to the Bronze and 1 Maybelline lipsticks.

Out of the 6 shades available in the UK, i found myself interested in only the shade in "Bad to the Bronze". It’s a very versatile colour which would look flattering on most skin tones. It will also compliment as a base colour for everyday neutral and dramatic looks.

Bad to the Bronze is a shimmery bronze colour but it doesn’t contain any glitter; making it possible to use in on an everyday basis. After you apply it does take a while to set in place, but once it sets it doesn’t budge one bit. The wear time is impressive and would last on your eyelid all day (unless if you have an oily eyelid - i would recommend wearing a primer beforehand).

I am really happy with this purchase and for £5 it’s definitely a steal! I would definitely buy more of the colour tattoos. Have you guys tried any of the colour tattoos?

Benefit World Famous Neutral Pallete :Review

Benefit generally have brilliant packaging and this eyeshadow pallete is no different. I couldnt resist but decided to buy it eventhough I have literally all the neutral colours in existence.

This eyeshadow book kit comes with four powder eyeshadows in: call me buff (a pearly white colour); kiss me, I'm tipsy ( a reddish brown colour); it's complicated (a shimmery goldy pink) and gilt-y pleasure ( a shimmery goldy peach). The kit also contain two creaseless cream eyeshadows in birthday suit (shimmery champagne colour) and my two cents (shimmery golden copper).

Overall I love the luxury and pigmentation of the powder and cream eyeshadows. The powder eyeshadows apply like butter and are not at all loose and powdery. You literally have everyting you need for an everyday neutral eyeshadow look and I can myself hitting pan on this fairly quickly. What did you guys think?
